Panel is a real-time configurator for a low-poly apartment block inspired by Central and Eastern European prefab housing. The idea was to build something that sits somewhere between a visual toy, an architectural sketch, and a small generative system. Users can change the number of floors, adjust the balance between windows, balconies, and loggias, switch facade palettes, and immediately see how those decisions reshape the building.

What makes the project interesting to me is that the result is not a single static model. The building is assembled from a custom facade-generation pipeline, then rendered in Three.js with live lighting, atmosphere controls, and small details like animated night windows. A lot of work also went into the interaction layer itself — camera behavior, touch-friendly controls, and performance tuning — so the configurator feels smooth and responsive even while rebuilding the scene in real time.
